ABOUT PINE STREET INN:

Pine Street Inn opened its doors in 1969. Over nearly five decades it has grown into New England’s largest nonprofit resource for homeless and formerly homeless adults. Through the ‘80s and ‘90s, Pine Street expanded from offering basic necessities – food, clothing, shelter and health care – and began to offer programs that help guests regain some of what they have lost – relationships, life skills, employment and housing. In the past decade, Pine Street Inn significantly expanded its inventory of supportive housing and it is now implementing a new generation of programs providing lasting solutions to homelessness.
