Organizational History and Background
Keep a Child Alive (KCA) was founded in 2003 by AIDS activist Leigh Blake and 15-time Grammy Award-winner Alicia Keys, as an emergency push to get life-saving HIV medication to children needlessly dying of AIDS in Africa.
Today, we continue to work on the front lines in the fight against AIDS, providing the critical components necessary to support successful, life-long HIV treatment: comprehensive clinical care, nutritious food and psychosocial support, all delivered with compassion, dignity and respect.
We also tackle the social and economic factors that fuel this epidemic and get in the way of prevention and treatment, such as poverty, lack of education, stigma, discrimination and isolation.
We are currently providing financial and programmatic support to 9 grassroots organizations in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and India, serving over 120,000 people annually.  In 2018 we are also launching a new program to prevent HIV/AIDS among Black women in the U.S.
Scope of Work
o Fundraising and Awareness Campaign
Keep a Child Alive (KCA) has undergone an organizational restructuring during the past 18 months and the organization has chosen not to hold its signature gala (“The Black Ball”) during that time.  Over this period, for strategic reasons, we have not communicated regularly with our constituents.  At this time,  we seek an opportunity to “reintroduce” KCA in a way that generates new interest in our work and creates a platform for a major fundraising campaign.
o Create and launch a new campaign that will showcase our vision powerfully 
o Develop strategy on where this campaign might be delivered – with a focus on social media (given budget limitations)
o Provide guidance on developing a realistic ROI of the campaign upon 
Anticipated timeframe: 12 months
o Website Revitalization
Help refresh the current Keep a Child Alive website with new visuals, copy, and content strategy.
o Incorporate new photos, videos, and collateral materials that can be shared via social media and deck presentations for prospects and donors
– Edit current and past videos, incorporate new footage and photos 
– Highlight recent work of Community Partners and related Events (i.e. AIDS WALK New York 2018, TD Five Boro Bike Tour)
o Showcase new partnerships (e.g., Gilead, Revlon, etc.) and new funding opportunities that are being launched this year.
o Provide two Visual Explorations for the site
o Complete design of approved Direction (PSDs or Sketch)
Anticipated timeframe: 60 days
o Creative collateral 
i. Support the KCA team in the design and development of approx. 2 PPT presentations per month (Specifics tbd based on needs)
ii. Creating information brochure and dynamic one-pager describing our work (online and printed)  
 Anticipated timeframe: 60 days to 12 months
o Messaging
i. Advise on KCA messaging and help deliver impactful language to describe our work, international partners, outcome measurements, as well as KCA’s upcoming presence in the United States
Anticipated timeframe: 90 days
o Budget
We will evaluate proposals based on competitive pricing, along with the bidders’ creative and strategic capabilities.  Please provide an estimate on your cost for each of the components of this RFP, including:

o Messaging
