RESEARCH ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY: CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FOR MAJOR DANCE ORGANIZATION
Seasoned fundraising professional and consultant with more than three decades in the non-profit management and development field is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to work 10 to 15 hours/week, at , on an 85th anniversary capital campaign for a renowned dance organization.
The Research Assistant will work from home, with occasional meetings, and regular phone check-ins.
Hours are flexible, as long as deadlines are met. This position is available immediately.
Tasks will be varied, with a focus on identifying and qualifying prospects; systematizing qualitative and quantitative information on prospect capacity and propensity; working with databases and other online research sources; and maintaining and updating financial projections as the campaign progresses.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- A minimum B.A. degree:
- Excellent internet and database research skills;
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, and Powerpoint;
- Strong writing and communication skills;
- Capacity to work independently and take initiative;
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
