Join funder colleagues and donors for a briefing on The Summer Fund!

Established in 1971, The Summer Fund is a donor collaborative managed and operated by Philanthropy Massachusetts, and governed by an eight-member Advisory Committee. The Fund was established to address issues of racial, ethnic, and socio-economic disparities by recognizing the need for summer opportunities for underserved youth.

Learn of the Fund’s powerful impact on thousands of underserved youth in Greater Boston.

This program will feature Bob Ditter, a licensed clinical social worker specializing in child, adolescent, and family therapy and consultant to youth organizations around the world. He has appeared on the ABC Evening News, Good Morning America and The NBC Today Show. Sports Illustrated called him “…camping’s most articulate spokesman” because of his work with children’s summer camps since 1982.

Expect a brief presentation from The Summer Fund, a moderated panel featuring some of our summer program partners and an opportunity to network with your funder/donor peers.

A light breakfast will be served at this event.
