The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with top-notch communication and interpersonal skills to support our Finance Department! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to supporting the audit process, compliance reporting, accounting and reporting of revenue, capital projects accounting, books publishing accounting, overseeing the plant fund and fixed asset ledger, month end closing entries and producing ad hoc reports.
This full-time, exempt position with excellent benefits is based at AMC’s headquarters in Boston, MA. This is a rare opportunity for a versatile Accountant interested in conservation and outdoor recreation! Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and relevant experience. Expertise in Excel and accounting software and reporting tools. Experience with Dynamics GP helpful, but not required.
