The Resource Center @ Philanthropy Massachusetts is available to active Nonprofit Partners. Here, our Partners can access four key databases for grants research:
- The Philanthropy MA Grant Maker Directory (GMD): Philanthropy MA's own database that contains 1,900 profiles on local funders
- Foundation Directory Online (FDO): Published by the Foundation Center, the FDO contains profiles and searchable giving data on over 92,000 foundations
- Guidestar Premium (GP): More robust than the basic Guidestar option, GP allows for advanced data analysis on the nonprofit and philanthropic sector
- The Philanthropy MA RFP listings: Philanthropy MA collects Requests for Proposals from our own grantmaking Members as well as RFPs that we find in a multitude of locations.
Our staff provides one-on-one training to help you get the most out of the databases. In addition, we can help to answer all manner of questions regarding grants, proposals, and all things pertaining to nonprofit management.
